Now that we've revealed all of Bon's house, many of you have been asking what to do with your Monday nights? #greatquestion We have the answer! We've gone back through our archives to pull out our favourite Three Birds TV episodes from previous renovations. It's been so great looking back at these very different projects and even picking up on where Bon may have got some of her inspo for her Dream Home.Read More
YAY! And not only are we revealing my Santorini-style kitchen but also an innovative new room that I guarantee you've never heard of before! This room was a must-have in my "forever home" but if you Google it, I promise there will be no results... except for a random business in New Mexico that happens to go by the same name ;-)Read More
Ever had to make a BIG decision? One which keeps you up at night... I remember Bon once saying she knew she'd made the right design decision once she could sleep at night.
Every reno has its BIG decisions and my forever home certainly had its fair share! Some decisions feel really easy and others really do keep you up at night.Read More
Press play on the image below to watch the episode and see Bon utter those exact words. I know, I wouldn't have believed it either if we didn't have it on tape. Don't miss it... this may well be the only opportunity in your lifetime to see such a thing #lanawasright #halleyscomet.
The living space/media room on the middle level was a tough nut to crack from a styling perspective. We chose the gorgeous teal couch (from BoConcept) very early in the reno and knew it was going to pack a punch in that room. What we didn't realise was how difficult it was going to be to add all the other pieces around it without overloading the room with too many things to look at.Read More
This week's episode reveals one of my FAVE rooms in the house... my URBAN MUD ROOM! Positioned right inside the front door this room had to be all about first impressions. We had to create that Santorini-vibe from the moment you walked through the front door... BUT it also needed to be super functional to accommodate all the shoes, school bags and sandy feet.Read More

But I gotta tell you I am particularly enamoured by my toilet choice for the main (kids) bathroom. I am a total germaphobe and the thought of anything toilet related gives me a bad case of the heebie-jeebies. But this one… is… seriously… different. Here’s why.Read More
Hey gang! Thanks for the great feedback we've received on the Parents' Retreat! It certainly makes me feel like we made all the right choices 😍. Now I can't wait to share with you the reno journey and reveal of my kids bedrooms and bathroom. Ruby is 9 and Heath has just turned 7 so we wanted to create rooms that weren't too childish but still playful. They'll be teenagers before I can blink #omg #scared #wantthemtostaythisageforever.Read More
Were you as shocked as Bonnie by my decision to give my office the prime real estate upstairs?
Check out Bonnie's reaction + get an overview of the layout below.
And just like that we are already three weeks into Three Birds TV... 😱
Episode three is here guys and it's all about my home office and terrace, all within our parents world. If you are like me and don't want to be working from a dark, small "office" at home, and you want a bright and beautiful space that leaves you feeling inspired and full of energy then I have a good feeling you're going to love this week's reveal.
We're kicking episode two off with a bang tonight revealing my ultimate parents retreat.
I'll show you how I did it by converting what used to be our family living space - the kitchen, living and dining into our very own "parents world" #heaven. The old layout didn't suit our lifestyle... it was upside down and didn't connect well with the rest of our home.Read More
I think I've already told you that my forever home has been in the works for years... long before Three Birds was born. And like most people, I engaged an architect early on to draw up some plans.
But after Three Birds began and we'd renovated a few houses, my eyes were opened up to new design ideas and I felt like I knew exactly what our dream home needed to be... so I picked up a pencil and started to draw it.Read More
