We've had a lot of you ask about the vintage, concrete trough featured in Bon's colourful laundry. It brings a unique, retro vibe and is also really practical for all that muddy sports gear. But the real reason Bon chose it for her Dream Home was that it has huge sentimental value. You see, we salvaged it from House 5 and that reno holds a very special place in our hearts, especially Bonnie's - watch Episode 2 to learn of the heartbreaking story behind this house.

They say time flies when you're having fun and that's certainly been our experience with this little fibro transformation. It took us 8 weeks (our longest reno ever!) but it was worth it! Even though we'd done four houses before this beauty we still tried lots of new things. Here are some of the "firsts" for us with this house.

Styling your home can be an overwhelming job and knowing where to start is often the hardest part.  Even if you have great style, the idea of decking out a whole house is a daunting one! Lucky we have Bon, our resident style queen, to help make our homes hot-to-trot. Keep on scrolling if you want to find out how Bon pulled together our bedroom looks at House 5.

 I have a question for you …… do blinds and window coverings excite you? Have you ever seen a blind and gone “WOW – that’s friggin’ amazing!”? No? Well that was us 6 months ago. 

Bon, myself and Erin shared the view that window coverings were pretty boring stuff and aside from white shutters, there was basically “nothing to see here”. Well how wrong were we!?

Styling can be a daunting task, even for those of us who have a natural eye for it, like Bonnie... and styling lounge rooms can be one of the more difficult spaces to do well - there are just so many questions to answer:

WOW what a day! Bon, Erin and myself are still floating down off cloud nine after getting the opportunity to share our house with everyone who attended our Exclusive Open Home today. It was very special for us, thanks to every one of our loyal supporters that attended and everyone that supported us from afar, your support of us as renovators, business women, busy mums and best friends seriously makes us beyond grateful.

Have I told you that we’re using more colour than ever in this house!?  I think they must have changed the coffee granules at The Tuckshop cos Bonnie has gone a bit colour crazy. Don’t worry, we’re not talking bright fuschia or chartreuse, you’ll see Bon’s choices are still very liveable and will work beautifully with our predominantly white walls #snowdrop.

TICK TOCK TICK TOCK …… with only 2 WEEKS TO GO it’s hard to imagine how we’ll get this house finished on time!?
