Welcome to the Bell family's slice of paradise, a coastal chic newly built home in Port Hacking, New South Wales. Reno Schooler Fiona and her family of five, including her husband Nick and their children Jack, Toby, and Madeline, have turned their dreams into reality after completing their new home.
Fiona’s an IT Project Manager so she’s process-driven by nature but, having never renovated or built before, she was aware she didn’t have the knowledge, skills or support to go it alone when creating her family’s dream home. And then she found Three Birds Reno School. Lucky us! We’ve had the pleasure of watching this new home come to life and we’d love to share it with you too…

The Vision: A WARM & WELCOMING COASTAL HOME
Fiona's vision for her family’s forever home was clear - a coastal retreat that is light-filled, happy, warm, and welcoming, with a tropical flair and a relaxed poolside vibe. It's a vision that speaks of lazy afternoons by the pool, laughter-filled family gatherings, and a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of life.
Why This Property?
For eight years, Fiona and her family have loved calling this location home but the dream was always to build something uniquely theirs. With a keen eye on the local market and a creative collaboration with their architect, they embarked on a journey to design a home that would fit perfectly on their block. This meant saying goodbye to their old home and pool, leaving just the garage as a memory of their previous house.
The result? A new home so perfect, it's hard to believe it's the same block!

The journey to bring this dream to life was a labour of love, with two years of meticulous planning and a 10-month build. But as Fiona will tell you, every moment of planning, every decision, and every challenge is worth it in the end.
