We’re so excited to reveal our latest makeover magic - a fabulous farmhouse kitchen glow-up that proves you don’t need to start with a blank slate to make a serious transformation.
Set in the Southern Highlands of NSW, the kitchen of this family weekender (and holiday rental) was dated and not suited to hosting large groups of guests. So, our challenge was to transform the tired ‘90s-style space into a warm, welcoming hub that could handle big weekends, group stays, and quiet cuppas alike. But with its position smack-bang in the centre of the home, it had to stay put, so we worked with the existing footprint to reimagine every inch.
Rather than gutting the space, we leaned into smart upgrades and thoughtful design. The existing cabinets got a major glow-up, a freestanding butcher’s block became the charming hero of the room, and a cosy café-style dining nook brings the heartwarming vibes. And just like that, this kitchen went from frumpy to fabulous.
