DO YOU WANT TO JOIN THE THREE BIRDS FAMILY?

We’re on the hunt for an amazing Construction Project Manager to help run our renovations and key projects.

You’ll need to be brilliant at managing tight timelines, budgets, and juggling multiple people and moving parts. We’re looking for someone who copes well under pressure, has an awesome can-do attitude, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

If this sounds like you, please keep reading!

IN A NUTSHELL…

We’re looking for someone who is super-organised, has exceptional attention to detail, and communicates clearly and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders. Ideally, you’ll be passionate about renovating and have hands-on experience in both construction project management and real-world renovations.

But… if you’re dreaming of choosing colours and cushions, this isn’t the role for you - that’s the realm of our fabulous Creative Team.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Management of the construction of multiple Three Birds projects from concept to completion, focusing on timelines, budgets, and quality.

  • Engagement and management of project builders and third-party contractors to agreed timelines and key deliverables.

  • Assisting in creating builder tender packs, scopes of work, and contractor briefs.

  • Leading regular onsite meetings with builders, contractors, and our suppliers for all critical components of the construction, and providing weekly reporting on progress.

  • Working with the Content team to ensure the content production schedule (i.e. all the fun videos we make) is aligned with the renovation timeline, and managing plans to capture content onsite as required. An interest in content creation will assist with scheduling and capturing ad-hoc iPhone footage for our platforms.

  • Working with our Partnerships team to manage the onboarding and implementation of Partner products in a consistent, efficient manner to support ongoing relationship management and retention.

  • Working with our Creative Team in managing the timing and execution of design elements onsite.

  • Working closely with our Head of Construction to ensure effective communication on project updates, troubleshooting, progress, and budget management.

  • Safety in Design – carrying out all projects in accordance with TBR requirements and assisting in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

You must have experience (1–3 years) running construction projects for clients (your own renovations are a bonus). A Construction Project Management degree is not required, but favourable. Experience working in a fast-paced team environment is essential.

We’re looking for someone who will love working with the Three Birds family, so you'll need to be passionate, open to change, and super agile. And, of course, love to have a bit of fun! You also need to be cool under pressure, as the renovation site can sometimes get a bit cray-cray (so can our office, come to think of it 😉).

You’ll need to be comfortable in front of the camera (no shrinking violets here 😉). Our film crew are regularly on-site, and we’ll need you ready, willing, and able to perform your project management role while the cameras are rolling, and sometimes even explain to our audience what’s going on with the renovation.

The role is a permanent full-time position. You must be available for ‘tradie hours’ when required (i.e. 7 am starts onsite), as well as traditional business hours. The role requires travel (in your own car) between job sites; your time will be split between WFH, the varied job sites, and our office at Dural. You will need a licence and your own car, and be prepared (and excited) to travel to numerous job sites, primarily in the Sydney Metro area, but also regional or interstate. This role is always “on the go” and no two days are the same!

To apply, please fill in the form below, and upload the following:
