GETTING FESTIVE WITH FREEDOM

When the friendly folks from Freedom asked if I’d style my home for Christmas with their products, it was a big #HELLYEAH from me. They’ve got such a huge range of Christmas goodies, at great prices, that will look fab in your home for the festive season and beyond.

Here’s how I styled a living space, bedroom and dining table…

The Christmas Cottage

The little cottage attached to our house really comes into its own over holiday periods. We love having the extra room for friends and family to stay over and continue the celebrations the following day. I changed up the furniture, adding some big floor cushions for extra bums and even did a switcheroo on the artwork. How good are the Snowy Pines against the green feature wall?

Because two Christmas trees are always better than one, I put a giant one in the cottage for guests to enjoy there too. Gold and white would have to be my all-time fave Christmas colour palette and keeping the tree simple with just two colours always looks beautiful #lessismore. See all those pressies under the tree? Most of them are actually just empty wrapped boxes #sorrykids but it’s such a great way to create interest and height around your tree #stylinghack

Drool-worthy Dining

And I’m not talking about the food! From placemats to glassware, plates, ice buckets and everyone’s favourite clam shell #perfectforoysters, I styled the entire table with hot products from Freedom that are sure to rival my Christmas cooking.

I’m loving that although I’ve chosen them for Christmas, so many of these products can be used throughout the year. I mean, who doesn’t need a gold bar cart and a multitude of gorgeous cushions in their home all.the.time?!

Christmas Dreamin’

I must say, I’m a bit jealous of our guests who will be jumping into this bed to catch some zzz’s at the end of a long Christmas day.

Fresh white sheets and plenty of pillows are always a good place to start when styling any bedroom and then I’ve added touches of ‘Christmas’ to the room. I love this Australiana wreath, it’s such an Aussie twist on a traditional version and ties in perfectly with the eucalyptus leaves in the vase. And those twinkling stars will have them sleeping like babies in no time…
