WE'RE BACK AND WE'RE BOARDING, BABY!
Reno School is back in session and we can feel the fever in the Facebook Community! There’s so much love and support flying around, it’s hard not to catch a new tip, some beautiful inspo and we’ve been blown away by the beautiful new vision boards.
Once you’ve polished off your Reno School Welcome Drink, we dive head first into vision boarding. It’s one of the very first things we teach... and one of the most important. We’ve seen many a headache caused by renovators realising that the modern black window frames they specified to their builder months back actually have no resemblance to their coastal vision. Or, that their weatherboard house was much better suited to a classic farmhouse style rather than a modern Mediterranean casa.
While some houses lend themselves to some styles more than others, the beauty of the vision boarding exercise is that it leads you through the process of what looks you love vs what suits your home and helps you nail the perfect style for your dream home.

“I’ve just joined Reno School and am getting great inspiration for our new build home which is situated on a sloping cliff looking out to the Manukau Harbour in Auckland, New Zealand.
We decided at the start to do a black exterior and a black oak kitchen and since then our coastal ‘green’ vibe has nicely worked with our ideas.
Looking forward to starting the build in the next month and using all these ideas along the way. xx”
