Over the years we’ve renovated lots of different houses, including our biggest reno when we transformed Lana's Forever Home but now, we’re taking on a totally different challenge... and it’s going to be quite literally our tiniest reno ever! It's going to be packed with heaps of cool ideas for small space living and we'll show you how to create the ultimate weekender! It's different to anything we've ever done before and we're gonna have some fun with it (not that the other renos haven't been fun ;-)!

Imagine a kitchen which is the complete opposite of Bonnie's kitchen? What would it look like? Small, black-on-black and with no room for an island bench perhaps? BINGO! That's exactly the kitchen we built at The River Shack reno. Despite it's small size, we used every trick in the book to make it as functional as possible and packed with personality. We wanted this kitchen to have a sleek and modern look, so stained the timber veneer cabinets black and teamed it with Vanilla Noir Caesarstone. And our favourite element of the whole kitchen is not what you'd expect - a piece of artwork which is as an eclectic combo of masculine and feminine energy topped off with a strong dose of cabin fever. A car burn-out never looked so pretty. #grittypretty
